In the Värmland valley
A few kilometers away, Hagfors, a very friendly and warm little town, is located in Värmland. Hagfors was built in the second half of the 19th century, making it a modern town. The city center is characterized by the Uvan River which divides it in the middle.
For culture buffs, there are museums, monuments and churches to discover. For those with a sweet tooth, very good restaurants offer their various suggestions. Not far from Hagfors, right next to Klarälysbanan, you will find the longest walking/cycling path there which takes you to Karlstad.
For the more sporty, you can enjoy beautiful hikes through the woods by bike or on foot. For those who prefer contact with water, the Klarälven opens its meanders for beautiful canoe trips.
Its airport is located a few kilometers away and connects Stockholm (Arlanda) and Hagfors (2 flights per day).
